As she held her beautiful baby in her arms, she whispered “I’m just so happy.”  Happy indeed.  She was so in love with her little girl!  And, of course, she’s crazy about her little boy, too, who came along for a few pics.  I also had the pleasure of photographing him as a newborn too, just 15 short months ago.  It was wonderful to see how he’s grown into such an adorable toddler!

Oh  my goodness, I am seriously in trouble!  How will I ever narrow down my choices from today’s amazing session with 4-year-old twins?!  Once again, my favourite local park provided the perfect backdrop for these adorable children and their parents.  Oh, and a special thanks to Dad for being so engaging with them and eliciting lots of laughs.  And to Mom, who picked out the perfect outfits!  Can’t wait to show you more!

Omgosh, was she ever!  With eyes to die for, fine delicate features, Snow White’s complexion, and tousled brown hair, she’s was a photographer’s dream.  What better way to spend my morning than at the park with this lovely child and her Daddy.  And, thankfully, she waited until the end of the session to crawl around  in the freshly mowed grass!

Thursday’s newborn posing workshop was a ton of fun, with a stunning line up of  4 beautiful models!  Each of them brought something unique to the table.  First up was Baby “J” with his gorgeous skin and full, pouty lips.  Next up was the lovely Baby “S” with her delicate porcelain skin and remarkable dark hair!  Her Mommy and Daddy even got in on the action!  Then we had the very handsome Baby “F,”  who curled up so nicely for us.  And last, but certainly not least, was Baby “X.”  He was the “oldest” baby at two weeks of age, but I love that he gave me such great eye contact!  Thank you so much to all the wonderful models and their parents, as well as to my fabulous attendees, for making the July workshop a huge success!

I was thrilled to have spent the last couple of days hosting another newborn photography workshop for 5 wonderful photographers from as far away as Bermuda.  Yes, that’s right, Bermuda!  I had just as many beautiful newborn models, ranging in age from 7 days to 3 weeks, and even had one set of parents jump in for a few shots.  All in all, it was a great success, and I am very much looking forward to the next class, scheduled for July 22nd/23rd.

She slept almost the entire time.  Ahhh…….I was in newborn heaven!  Thank you sweet pea for such a great session!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing this handsome 7-day-old boy and his adoring family.  I had the opportunity to try out my new cocoon too.  I love the rich chocolate hues!

A family session with a six-week-old and a two-year-old can be challenging, but little Miss “K” is already a pro at posing for the camera, and Baby “M” is well on her way!  Thank you all for a very fun session!

Can you say cutie pahtootie?!  What a handsome little fella!  And busy!  He had just recently learned how to walk, and walk he did…..and crawl and cruise too!  He loved my stairs as well, and made a beeline for them every chance he got!  Gave Mom and Dad quite the workout!

Please meet the very handsome “Baby E,” and his doting parents.  “E” was all of 13 days old today, and already becoming a very alert little fella.  I had to chuckle at his cute little grunts that he would emit every so often, to denote his disaproval.  Thank you “Baby E” for putting up with me!
