I just love a newborn with lots of hair…..especially when she’s a good little sleeper too. Well, this little lassie sure fit the bill!

Five phenomenal portrait photographers from across Canada are being hosted in Montreal, by Natacha Silber Photography, for a fun-filled weekend of camaraderie, collaboration and most importantly….lots of photography. The photographers include www.natachasilberphotography.com, www.tanyashields.com, www.ambershereen.com, www.deannahallphotography.com, and www.stephanierobin.ca.
This unique three day event (April 10-12th, 2010) requires a variety of models, ranging from expectant mothers to teens, specifically:
Monday April 12th 9:30am – noon
Pregnant women (33-36 weeks)
2-3 models needed.
Saturday, April 10th from 9:30am – 3pm
Newborn babies (5-10 days old)
5 models needed (will accept the youngest)
If you are due near this time please send you inquiry and we will contact you with further information.
Sunday April 11th from 9:30am – 3pm
Toddlers, children, and teens.
Sessions maybe held outside at a chosen location.
Please send one photograph only for each model interested in participating to gabfest2010@gmail.com . Successful applicants will be contacted with further information and specific event details.
Only 5 weeks to go before they are holding their new bundle of joy in their arms. The ultrasound images showed that he or she has lots of hair. Hmmm…..I’m envisioning a dark haired little girl, but we’ll soon see! 
Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing this handsome 7-day-old boy and his adoring family. I had the opportunity to try out my new cocoon too. I love the rich chocolate hues!

This is beautiful Baby “A” on day three. Wow! I haven’t had one this young in the studio in a very long time! It was a pleasure photographing you today “A.” And so nice to see your big sister “L” again too. My goodness, she has grown so big!

This happy couple is expecting their second child next month. And although they do not yet know if they are having a boy or a girl, one thing is for certain; he or she will be immeasurably blessed.
What better way to end the year than with a set of beautiful triplets! These little dolls are from my last session of 2009. So without further ado, Happy New Year to all of you!

This is the adorable baby “J” on day 11. We had a terrific session, and were able to capture lots of great images! Can’t wait for Mom and Dad to see them! Also, don’t forget to spread the word that I am looking for newborn models for my April 20th workshop! Please see post below for details.

Are you expecting a baby in April? If so, I would love to hear from you! I am hosting a newborn photography workshop on April 20th, and require three to four newborn babies. Babies must be under 2 weeks of age by the class date, and a signed model release will be required, as the photographers will be using the images for their portfolios etc. Chosen candidates will receive a complimentary newborn session in addition to up to five 8×10 prints. Interested parties are invited to email me for more details.
A little beauty on day 6. She was just exquisite, and slept so well for us. I could have photographed her all day!
- Wow Amber. I'm in love with all your images. That first one is simply gorgeous. I could stare at it all day but I promised the kids I'd put the Christmas decorations up today.
